What's Different About The Morris Spinal Stenosis and Disc Center?

Just about everything!

1. We start by rechecking your Diagnosis.
Did you know that most diagnoses for lower back pain are made primarily from MRI findings. And did you know that most studies have shown that your MRI findings were NOT associated with your pain about 50% of the time? This has been substantiated in several medical journals and today is well acknowledged. Yet, most doctors still rely far too heavily upon these findings alone and incorrectly treat your condition.

A proper diagnosis is made only with a very thorough history and examination and secondarily on the MRI, not the other way around.

2. How thorough was your examination?
Did your doctor just ask where it hurt, had you bend over and tapped on your leg with a hammer? Was it completed within 15 minutes? How about 10 minutes?

Our center offers the most thorough exam you’ll probably ever receive. There is absolutely no other way to evaluate a serious and difficult back problem. This is the cornerstone of our low back center. We find the real cause of your pain before we design a treatment plan.

3. What is the best treatment approach for your back?
Have you noticed if you went to a surgeon, that surgery was your best option? How about a chiropractor, was manipulation what you needed? Add a physiatrist and it’s an injection or acupuncture and it’s a needle. Are doctors designing a treatment plan based on what you need or what they do?

Our center works with all specialists, so the treatment that’s recommended to you is the one you need. We offer or work with specialists who use physical therapy, manipulation, surgery, injections, acupuncture, mind-body therapy and even non-surgical Spinal Decompression. In fact, we are one of the few centers in the country that offer the most advanced form of Spinal Decompression called Spinal Decompression. You can view more information about this new and very effective, non-surgical form treatment by clicking Spinal Decompression introduction video at the top of this page.
